Toy Car, Bomdilla,Arunachal

I saw this amazing toy designed by the childs father on my way back from Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. Boy was immersed in the object. He even accted like an expereinced driver using horn, steering and even repairing the roller wheels. He was supportedby his friend with a plastic toy of a carrier. They played building the road scenario with his freind helping him bringing the eath and him rolling the road.
Road construction was happening around the place. You could see a lot of rollers road construction work. There were many Sumo's and Jeeps and the boy would easily convert the toy into a jeep suiting his mood.
Toy even enabled him to think of changing the tyres, reparing, oiling.
The shape of the toy is abstract and is designed to suit an experience of driving rather than making a scaled down version of a real car.
